
Jewell Honored by League

Maddie Jewell of the Wright State women's soccer team has been named the Horizon League All-Academic Women's Soccer Team, as announced by league officials today.
Jewell, a sophomore goalie from Cincinnati, OH, holds a 4.0 grade point average in Neuroscience. She has played in 17 games, leading the Raiders to six shutouts in almost 1,200 minutes of action and a 9-5-1 overall record.
The League All-Academic Teams are voted on by one Faculty Representative of each school.
The Raiders end the regular season at Detroit Mercy Friday afternoon as the league tournament starts Monday. The three and four seeds will host the five and six seeds with the top seed hosting the semifinals and finals. Wright State is currently in fourth place.
