Winchester Honored by League

For the second time this season, Everett Winchester has been named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week, conference officials announced today. He received a similar honor on Nov. 13.
Winchester averaged 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds during the four-win week for the Raiders. He added five assists as he shot 53% (13-25) from the field and 75% from the line (12-16) with eight points and five rebounds against Fairfield to end the week and 18 points and seven boards to start the week against Tiffin. Wright State also defeated Jacksonville and Gardner-Webb.
The Raiders will travel to play at Western Kentucky Saturday for a 5 pm eastern game and be back home to host Ohio Valley next Tuesday night. Winchester will be a guest on tonight's Coaches Shows at the Fairborn TJ Chumps. The show will be broadcast on WONE, 980 AM, starting at 6 pm.
