Alex Kaminsky posted one of the best seasons in recent history on the mound for WSU and was named to the Jewish Sports Review All-American Team on Tuesday. The sophomore became the first Raider to be honored by the publication and was the only player from Ohio that was selected to the team.

The Raiders added another name to their list of players that have signed professional contracts on Sunday, June 29 when former hurler and current assistant coach Garret Holleran inked a contract with the Gary SouthShore Railcats.

The Raiders posted their third straight 30-win season in 2008 and set a handful of school records in the process. WSU garnered the Player of the Year honors as Jeremy Hamilton was selected as the Horizon League's best player and three players were selected in the Major League Baseball Draft.
