San Juan Brochure

The Wright State men's basketball team will take a trip in December off the mainland for the first time since 1993 as the Raiders have signed a contract to be part of this year's San Juan Shootout December 20-22.

The three-game event also featured WSU in the 1993-94 season, the year following the Raiders' first NCAA appearance. Murray State, South Florida and Oral Roberts have also been confirmed. See the schedule listed below.

The Raiders are coming off their first back-to-back 20 win seasons and return three starters and its top two scorers, including first-team All-Horizon League selection Vaughn Duggins. Newcomers include Centerville, Ohio, native Scott Grote, an eligible transfer from Duquesne, and 6-7 junior college transfer Cory Cooperwood.

Wright State fans can also be part of the trip as the Athletic Department is offering a special package which includes airfare with the team, five nights at a four-star resort, game tickets and other great offers.
