Wright State Physicians Building

In the summer of 2013, the Wright State University Sports Medicine Department moved into their new home in the newly constructed Wright State Physicians Building. The location of this facility puts them adjacent to the Rinzler Student Sports Complex, and in close proximity to the on-campus practice and game locations for all other Raider sports. This state-of-the-art facility is home to Orthopaedics, Family Medicine, Dermatology, and OB/GYN, all readily available to see our student-athletes. There is also a clinical laboratory on site, a full pharmacy, x-ray and diagnostic ultrasound units, a MRI suite, and over 6,000 square feet of treatment, rehabilitation, and hydrotherapy space for the student-athletes of Wright State University.

On top of the standard modalities that have become common in the athletic training clinic (e-stim, ultrasound, laser, etc.), we also utilize an Alter-G treadmill, a Biodex Balance Training System, a Pilates Reformer, Cybex Isokinetic Testing Machine, a polar plunge hydrotherapy pool (cold aquatic therapy), and a Swim-ex current/exercise pool. The inclusion of these tools in the care of the student-athlete helps to provide the best possible treatment and rehabilitation outcomes, allowing athletes to return to their sport and remain healthy.

Take I-75 South to I-70 East

North Fairfield Road becomes Raider Road after the stoplight; Continue going straight on Raider Road and go around the Nutter Center, which will be on your right
Continue on Raider Road until you see the Physicians Building on the left

From the South
Take I-75 North to I-675 North
Take I-675 to Exit 17, follow the sign for "WPAFB Areas A&C" and "Wright St. Univ."
Get off at Wright State University exit
Turn left onto University Boulevard
You will see the Physicians Building on the left

From the East
Take I-70 West to I-675 South
Take I-675 to North Fairfield Road Exit (Exit 17)
Turn right onto North Fairfield Road
North Fairfield Road becomes Raider Road after the stoplight; Continue going straight on Raider Road and go around the Nutter Center, which will be on your right
Continue on Raider Road until you see the Physicians Building on the left

From the West
Take I-70 East to I-675 South
Take I-675 to North Fairfield Road Exit (Exit 17)
Turn right onto North Fairfield Road
North Fairfield Road becomes Raider Road after the stoplight; Continue going straight on Raider Road and go around the Nutter Center, which will be on your right
Continue on Raider Road until you see the Physicians Building on the left
