An All-American selection for his play on the field and for his academics, Jake Hibberd is one of only two Raiders in program history to earn that distinction after his prolific 2011 season. The 2011 Horizon League Player of the Year, Hibberd added ABCA all-region and Louisville Slugger All-American honors for his work on the field, while he was also named an academic All-American in both 2011 and 2012. Part of two Horizon League regular season champions and two HL tournament championship teams, Hibberd played in the NCAA tournament in 2009 and 2011 and was a three-time Horizon League first team selection after beginning his career on the HL all-newcomer team. Tenth all-time in career games played, he is tied for the most hits and has the second-most at-bats and total bases in Raidergang history while being third in doubles and fourth in runs batted in while playing in the 10th-most games in program history with the eighth-most starts all time.
