Jodi Martin, the school’s second all-time leading scorer with 2,055 points, was the team MVP in all four of her seasons with WSU. She led the team in scoring in each of those years (1979-83), and she also won the team Raider award for the 1982-83 season.
Martin’s name can be seen several times in the record books, including being second in career field goals made (890), sixth in career field goal percentage (.510), ninth in free throws made (275), third in rebounds (868), and first in scoring average with 20.6 points per game.
The Columbus, OH native is also in the top ten in several season-high categories, including field goals made (261), field goal percentage (.544), points (588), and scoring average (24.5). She ranks in the top ten on each of the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior scoring lists.
