Tim Begley holds the honor of being WSU’s all-time leading wrestler.
In his four seasons with the Raiders, Begley compiled a record of 111-26 and garnered three All-American honors in 1984, 1985 and 1986.
Begley won the NCAA Division II regional tournament for his weight class in 1984 and 1985. He placed fifth in 1984 and 1986 and fourth in 1985 in his weight class in the NCAA Division II National Championships, qualifying as a freshman in 1983.
As a sophomore, Begley ranked as high as fifth in the nation.
