The Wright State Men's's Soccer Team Beat Detroit 1-0

The Wright State Men's Soccer Team picked up their fifth consecutive shutout at home Friday night as they beat the Titans of Detroit Mercy 1-0. The Raiders have not allowed a goal at home this season.
The Raiders scored the lone goal of the evening as sophomore Bret Jones (Xenia/ Xenia) found the back of the net off centering pass from freshman Ryan Azuogu. The Raiders dominated the game as they out shot the Titans 24-9.
With the win the Raiders are now 7-4 on the season and 2-2 in the MCC. The Raiders will next be in action on Sunday October 8 as they travel to Huntington, West Virginia to take on Marshall. The Raiders next home game will be on Sunday October 22 as the Flame of Illinois-Chicago invade Alumni Field for a MCC showdown.
