LINKS NAMED MCC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Lance Links (Huber Heights, OH/Wayne), a junior first baseman on the Wright State baseball team, has been named the Midwestern Collegiate Conference's Player of the Week for the week ending February 25.
Links continued to give the Raiders a huge presence in the middle of the order last weekend at Murray State as he went five-for-10 in the three-game series with the Racers, including two doubles and a home run to center field in the finale. He also drove in two and scored five times.
For the season, Links is leading the MCC with a batting average of .429, his .714 slugging percentage is third and his .478 on-base percentage is fourth.
The baseball team returns to action this weekend with a three-game series at Morehead State, starting with a doubleheader on Saturday at noon.
