Swimming Splits with Cincinnati

The Wright State swimming and diving teams split a dual meet with Cincinnati Saturday afternoon at the WSU Natatorium, the men winning 140-83 and the women falling to the Bearcats 123-116.
The men had 10 first-place finishes on the day, four of which set new WSU Natatorium records. Ryan Kellerman set two records in winning both the one meter (311.62) and three meter (360.37) diving competitons while Warren Thompson set a new mark in the 200 fly (1:52.03) as did Rafael Candido in the 100 free (45.36).
The women won four events, led by Crystal Grinstead winning both diving events, including a new pool record of 302.02 in the one meter.
In all, six records were broken on the day as Cincinnati set a new mark in the women's 400 free relay (3:33.46).
Wright State closes out the regular season Sunday by hosting Butler for a noon meet.
