
Swimming and Diving Sweeps Green Bay

The Wright State swimming and diving program posted a dual meet sweep of Horizon League foe Green Bay on Thursday at the WSU Natatorium. The men's squad posted a 146-93 triumph and the women's team edged the Phoenix 139.5-101.5 in their second action of the season.
On the men's side of things, WSU posted victories in all 11 swimming events and Caleb Nettleton posted his first career victory in the 1 meter diving event. WSU was led by a trio of swimmers with two individual victories as T.J. Collins won the 50 and 100 free, Aaron Eckstein posted victories in the 1000 free and 100 back, while Scott Lang placed first in the 200 and 500 free. Micah Belew, Graham Parker and Warren Thompson all posted victories on the evening for WSU.
The women opened the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay, won six individual events and capped the night with a win in the 200 free relay. Two WSU women's swimmers won a pair of events against the Phoenix as Kelsey Cooper was victorious in the 200 free and 100 back, while Jessica Weidert won the 200 IM and the 100 breast. Mabel Fernandez and Krystyna Wieczerzak each posted individual wins for WSU as well.
The Raiders will travel to Chicago on Friday, October 26, to take on the Flames of UIC starting at 6:00 Dayton time.
