
Women's Soccer Falls at Ohio State, 3-0

The Wright State women's soccer team dropped their first match of the season on Tuesday at Ohio State, falling 3-0 as they surrendered an early first half goal and two in the second half.
The Raiders hung tough in the first half with four shots to eight for OSU, as freshman keeper Meghan Hackerson recorded three saves. The Buckeyes tallied their lone goal in the 21st minute off the left foot of Courtney Jenkins.
In the second half, Hackerson faced 17 shots from the OSU attack and made five saves. The Buckeyes would add a pair of goals in the second half, netting the tallies in the final 20 minutes of the game.
Wright State took nine shots in the contest, with freshman duo Jenna Cooper and Amber Kasmer each recording two shots on goal.
The Green and Gold fall to 2-1 overall this season and will return to action against in-state foe Kent State on Friday, September 7. The Raiders and the Golden Flash will square off at 4:00 on the KSU campus.
