
Women's Soccer Falls to Milwaukee in Semifinals

The Wright State women's soccer team fell behind 2-0 at the half and could not recover as the Milwaukee Panthers went on to that 2-0 decision in the semifinals of the Horizon League Women's Soccer Tournament Friday afternoon in Indianapolis.
Sarah Hagen gave Milwaukee a 1-0 lead at the 15:30 mark of the first half as the Horizon League Player of the Year scored her 16th goal of the season on an assist from Nicole Sperl.
Sperl then assisted the second goal at the 24:54 mark as Helen Steinhauser tallied her first goal of the year.
Milwaukee outshot the Raiders 17-4.
Wright State closes the season with a final mark of 11-9 while Milwaukee heads to Sunday's championship with a record of 11-6-2.
