The Wright State women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 Horizon League decision at Butler Saturday night.
The lone goal of the contest came at the 38:43 mark when the Bulldogs' Elise Kotsakis scored from just outside the box.
Butler outshot WSU 15-11, but Raider goalkeeper Brooke McCurdy kept the Raiders within a goal by recording eight saves.
Wright State (5-4-2, 0-1-1 Horizon) returns home on Saturday, October 1, as the Raiders host Milwaukee in Horizon League action at 5:00. That game will be the first of a doubleheader as the WSU men follow with a 7:00 matchup against Xavier.
