
Quilliec Named HL Male Swimmer of the Week

Freshman Clement Quilliec has been named as the Horizon League Male Swimmer of the Week for the week ending October 27, it was announced Tuesday by the league office.
Quilliec (Brest, France) won five individual events and was a part of two winning relay teams over the weekend as the Raiders improved to 7-0 on the season with victories over Green Bay and Milwaukee at the WSU Natatorium. On Thursday, October 24, he won the 200 individual medley (1:53.03) and the 100 breaststroke (57.62) as Wright State defeated Green Bay. Quilliec was also a part of the 400 medley relay team that finished first.
On Saturday, October 26, Quilliec won the 100 breaststroke (59.27), 200 breaststroke (2:07.56) and 200 individual medley (1:55.00) as the Raiders were victorious over Milwaukee. He was also part of the winning 200 medley relay team.
For the season, Quilliec has recorded 13 individual first-place finishes along with six in relay competition.
Wright State returns to action on Saturday, November 2, with a meet at Horizon League newcomer Oakland starting at 1:00.
