Swimming Hosts Tri-Meet With IUPUI and Marshall

The Wright State swimming and diving teams hosted IUPUI and Marshall in a tri-meet Saturday afternoon at the WSU Natatorium. The Raider men defeated IUPUI 210-90 while the women fell to the Jaguars 170-127. WSU also fell to the Marshall women 166-133 while Thundering Herd also defeated IUPUI 149-148.
The Raiders set four pool records on the day in the women's 400 medley relay team of Kortney Mullen, Kayla Fearrin, Emily Hayhow and Samantha Miller, the men's 400 medley relay team of Mitch Stover, Clement Quilliec, Matt Dassow and Luke Osgood, the men's 800 free relay team of Quilliec, Dassow, Stover and Wiehan Boshoff and Dassow in the 200 fly.
Beside the three record-setters, first-place finishers for the Wright State men were Kile Aukerman in the 1000 free, Boshoff in the 200 and 500 free, Stover in the 100 and 200 back, Quilliec in the 100 and 200 breast, Osgood in the 50 and 100 free, Nathan Meyer in one meter and three meter diving and Dassow in the 100 fly.
Along with the record setting 400 medley relay team, other first-place finishers for the Raider women were Fearrin in the 100 breast, Miller in the 50 and 100 free and Kyah Fleckner in one meter diving.
Wright State is now off until the Raiders compete at the Miami Invitational December 4-6.
