
Cross Country Competes In Horizon League Meet

The cross country teams hosted the Horizon League Championships Saturday at the Elvin R. King Course in Cedarville. The Raider women placed third while the men finished ninth.
The women were led by freshman Hailey Brumfield who finished ninth with a time of 22:39 in the 6K race. Both Brumfield and Jessica Doepker, who was 12th, were named Second Team All-Horizon League.
Matt Peters led the WSU men in 52nd place with a time of 26:56 in the 8K race.
The teams will next be in action November 13 at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in Madison, Wisconsin.
