10/7/2015 4:00:00 AM | General
Homecoming
The Raiders will be a large part of the 2015 Homecoming events, and we ask all Wright State Alumni to be a part of it too on October 10.
Alumni, friends, family and fans can watch as the Raider men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball teams all have events that day plus the Homecoming Festival.
Both soccer teams take on Horizon League foes at Alumni Field (Rinzler Complex) as the women play Oakland at 3 pm while the men play Valparaiso at 7 pm. The softball team will challenge its alumni at 3:30 at the WSU Softball Field, and the volleyball team will be in action against League foe and rival Cleveland State in McLin Gym at 4 pm.
Everyone is invited to join us for the annual Homecoming Festival in the parking lot of the Rinzler Student Sports Complex. Enjoy live music from Wright State alumni, The Kate Hasting Band and American Idol top 16 finalist, Alexis Gomez. Live music will begin at 5:30 p.m. While at the festival participate in the annual chili cook off, grab a bite to eat from a local food truck, try to beat the AROTC maze, sign up a team to compete in the cornhole tournament, and catch up with fellow alumni in Alumni Association tent. There will be a separate tent just for former student-athletes.
