
Records Set in Three Events in Day One of HL Swimming Championships

The Wright State swimming and diving teams set records in three events Wednesday during the opening day of the Horizon League Championships in Rochester, Michigan.
The women's 200 medley relay team of Sofia Aledo, Kayla Fearrin, Emily Hayhow and Samantha Miller started the day by setting new meet, league, school and pool records with a time of 1:39.96.
The men's 200 medley relay team of Jack Fergus, Clement Quilliec, Mitch Stover and Luke Osgood set a school record with a time of 1:28.72 while the men's 800 free relay team of Stover, Matt Dassow, Osgood and Wiehan Boshoff also set a school record with a time of 6:32.41.
Both teams are in third heading into day two, which begins with prelims at 10:00 and the finals at 5:30.
