WSU Student-Athletes Give Back

For the second straight year, Wright State student-athletes took a break from studies and training to be part of the Special Olympics Holiday Dinner Dance sponsored by Special Olympics of Greater Dayton.
On the evening of December 8, 16 Raiders of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) along with a staff member volunteered to help with the annual event. Part of their responsibilities were preparing and serving drinks, helping Santa, overseeing and serving the participants, dancing and cleaning up.
Wright State student-athletes gave almost 3,000 hours to 75 community service events last year.
