Congratulations to our New Graduates

On Saturday, April 29, 40 Wright State student-athletes were among more than 2,100 happy graduates at the annual spring graduation in the WSU Nutter Center. Along with the nine graduate at the mid-year ceremony, WSU athletics had one of its largest classes ever.
Among those 40 current and former Raider student-athletes who toiled and represented the Green and Gold on the fields, courts and in the classroom, their studies included a variety of majors from the many academic colleges.
Graduation comes on the heels of the November release of WSU's best Graduation Sucess Rate (GSR) announcement.
The academic success of Wright State University student-athletes has soared to new heights. A new set of data on the Graduation Success Rates (GSR) of Division I athletics programs was released in November by the NCAA. Wright State's 88 percent is its highest overall since the NCAA began tracking GSR with the class of student-athletes who entered in 1995.
Not only did WSU post its highest GSR in school history, but Wright State has also posted above the 86 percent national average and had the second highest GSR in the Horizon League as well as the second highest amongst Division I public institutions in the state of Ohio.
Wright State had seven teams finish above the national average for their respective sports. WSU women's tennis led the way with a perfect 100 percent GSR while baseball (96), men's soccer (93), women's cross country/track (93), men's cross country (88), men's golf (86) and men's basketball (83) all followed suit.
