
Day Two at the Horizon League Championships

The Wright State swimming teams competed in the second day of the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships in Cleveland, OH. Â The men are currently in sixth and the women are in eighth.

The Raiders saw a new school record set on Thursday. Â Dominic Poletta, who won the men's 50 yard freestyle with a time of 19.73, breaking the school mark he set earlier in prelims. Â Along with Poletta, Kevin McCaffrey, Mitch Stover, and Jack Fergus finished second in the 200 yard freestyle relay. Even with his goggles filled with water, Mitch Stover added another first place finish for the Raiders, swimming a 1:47.76 in the 200 yard IM.
