Swimmers Named Academic All League

Five members of the Wright State men's and women's swimming teams were named to the Horizon League Swimming All Academic Teams, conference officials announced today.

Honored from the men's team, senior Jack Fergus (Sugar Grove, IL/Marmion) in Mechanical Engineering, junior Gavin Mickelson (Marysville, OH/Marysville) in Mechanical Engineering and senior Ryan Schultz (DeKalb, IL/DeKalb) in Athletic Training. The Raider women chosen include sophomore Maddie Eckley (Centerville, OH/Centerville) in Sports Science and senior Abby Saner (Xenia, OH/Xenia) in Biological Sciences.

Teams are selected by the Faculty Athletic Representatives from each school and must be at least sophomore status with a grade point average of at least 3.200.
