Horizon League Partners with ESPN+

INDIANAPOLIS — Continuing its longstanding partnership with ESPN, the Horizon League will usher in ESPN's innovative direct-to-consumer streaming service, ESPN+, by airing its spring sports championships on the newly-launched platform.

As an integrated part of a completely redesigned ESPN App, and also via ESPN.com, ESPN+ subscribers will receive thousands of live sporting events, original shows and films, and an exclusive on-demand video library.

For just $4.99 per month, fans can gain access to ESPN+, the first-ever multi-sports, direct-to-consumer premium subscription streaming service from The Walt Disney Company's Direct-to-Consumer and international group, in partnership with ESPN.

Authenticated live streaming of ESPN's U.S. networks — including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, and ESPNEWS — will continue to be available via "TV Everywhere" within the ESPN App and on ESPN.com through an affiliated pay TV subscription.

In addition to the Horizon League airing its spring sports championships on the exciting new platform, three member institutions — Oakland, UIC, and Wright State — will be piloting some of their regular-season baseball content through the service.
