The Wright State softball team ended the regular season Saturday afternoon at home against league-leading UIC, falling 6-0 to the Flames but keeping it close until late.
The game was scoreless until the Flames scored once in the top of the fifth inning and brought home five more in the top of the seventh. The Raiders rallied several times through the game, but were unable to dent the scoreboard. Brianna Hutchinson and Madison Hartman each picked up hits for WSU. Olivia Otani pitched 4.1 scoreless innings while Makenna Durieux took the loss.
The Raiders end the season at 22-33 and 9-15.
