Personal- and Season-Bests fall at Horizon Championships

The Wright State track and field team wrapped up its indoor schedule over the weekend, turning in a total of five Top 10 finishes, 12 personal best times and 20 season best times at the 2020 Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Youngstown State.

Friday's action included Jennifer Ramsey's personal best time of 58.73 to win her 400-meter heat and finish 11th overall, a time that moves her up to fourth on the Raider Top 10 list. Iman Salhieh turned in a season-best 7.81 time in the 60-meter race, finishing 10th, while Salhieh (25.83) and Cameron Campbell (26.07) each turned in season bests in the 200-meter race.

In the 5,000-meter run, Molly Kearns finished sixth with her time of 17:44 and Abigail Halsey turned in a time of 17:49 to finish in eighth as the duo both ran personal bests in the race and their times moved them to sixth and seventh, respectively, in the Raider Top 10 list for the event.

Saturday saw Lauren Shuman win her heat in the mile run and finish fourth overall with a time of 5:08, moving her to sixth in the Raider Top 10 list for the event, while Kearns came back with a ninth-place finish in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:19 for a personal best and the new fifth place spot in the events' Raider Top 10 list. The Raiders' 4x400 team turned in a season best time of 3:58.99, shaving off 25 seconds.
