Wright State defeats Chicago State Saturday

The Wright State men's tennis team defeated Chicago State 5-2, Saturday afternoon, in Homewood Illinois, to record its third victory of the 2020 season.
In singles action, Leighton Brandon recorded the Raiders first win, defeating Chicago State's Jesus Perez Plaza 6-1, 6-4. Theo Bourghelle defeated Pedja Kolaric 6-3,6-2 before William Morton was pushed to three by Jakub Zamorski but walked away with the win defeating Zamorski 0-6, 6-3, 6-4. Carlos Sanchez rounded out the singles victories for the Raiders, defeating Cody Wurzelbacher 6-3, 6-2.
In doubles action, the team of Leighton Brandon/Javier Alaverz defeated the team of Cody Wurzelbacher/Pedja Kolaric 6-4. The team of Willam Morton and Carlos Sanchez defeated the team of Javier Sanchez Pradillo and Jakub Zamorski 6-2.
The Raiders are back in action tomorrow as they take on DePaul at 3:15 p.m. before returning home for three consecutive contests starting on March 14.
