Bryce Hohman and Emma Shigley named #HLXC Runners of the Week

DAYTON/INDIANAPOLIS – Wright State cross country runners Bryce Hohman and Emma Shigley have been named the final #HLXC Runners of the Week, the Horizon League office announced on Tuesday.

Hohman finished runner-up at the Wild Bill XC Fest in the 5K race finishing with a time of 15:50, which was a new personal best. Hohman was the first collegian to cross the line, while his time was a personal best 5K time and was 70 seconds faster than he ran on the same course in September.

Shigley placed fifth overall and was the second collegian to cross the finish line at the Wild Bill XC Fest. She finished the 5K race in a time of 18:21, which was a personal best and ranked her ninth in program history.

The Wright State cross country programs head to the Northview Church Course in Carmel, Indiana Saturday afternoon for the 2021 Horizon League Championship races.
