Athletics Department Shines on 2021 Wright Day to Give

A total of 204 donors helped support Wright State's 200-plus student-athletes with over $43,000 in gifts to the Athletics Department and individual sport programs during the University's annual 'Wright Day to Give' that took place on October 1, 2021.

The campaign was driven through individual sport programs and coaches, social-media promotion and an online crowdfunding platform. Wright State Athletics donations comprised 25 percent of all money raised during the university-wide campaign, with gifts received from 21 different states. All gifts to a specific sport will be used in a variety of different avenues, including continued improvements in team apparel, travel, recruiting, facilities upkeep, student-athlete nutrition, leadership training and more.
