Pettit earns Horizon League Runner of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS — Wright State's Max Pettit was named Horizon League Men's Runner of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.Â
Last Friday, Pettit led WSU at the All-Ohio Championships by placing 15th out of 438 competitors with a time of 24:52.6 in the men's 8,000-meter run. The time was not only a personal record but also a Raider course record and the third-fastest 8K mark in school history. Pettit's career day helped Wright State to a sixth-place finish out of 29 teams in the meet.
Pettit and company will return to competition on Saturday, October 1, at the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic, hosted by the University of Louisville.
