
Noah Sharp earns #HLXC Men’s Freshman of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS — Wright State's Noah Sharp was named the Horizon League Men's Freshman of the Week as the conference office announced its weekly cross country awards Wednesday afternoon.Â
Sharp made his collegiate debut last Friday at the Mike Baumer Cross Country Classic hosted by Wright State, placing 32nd out of 176 runners in the men's 5,000-meter run with a personal-record time of 15:24.3. His finishing mark ranked second among 12 Raider men in the meet.Â
The Lancaster, Ohio native will look to build on his award-winning performance on Friday, September 15, as Wright State travels to nearby Cedarville for the All-Ohio Championships.Â
