Both basketball teams return home this week, with men's basketball playing on national television Thursday night and women's basketball with a pair of home games. Here's a look at the week ahead.

Men's BasketballÂ
The Wright State men's basketball team opens the 2024 calendar at home on Thursday night with a nationally televised contest against Cleveland State. Thursday's game is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff on ESPN2. The Raiders then make the quick trip north to take on Purdue Fort Wayne Saturday afternoon in a 1 p.m. start on ESPN+. Fans can listen to both games to by tuning in to the new home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM.
Last week the Raiders dropped a pair of contests in Wisconsin, falling Friday at Green Bay before a Sunday setback in Milwaukee. Friday, the Raiders were paced by 23 points from both Trey Calvin and Tanner Holden as Calvin became the all-time leader in games played in Wright State program history. Wright State was led by Holden's 25 points on Sunday while Brandon Noel tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
Women's Basketball
The Raider women's basketball team returns home this week for two contests, beginning with a Friday night meeting against Milwaukee set for a 7 p.m. start. The Raiders then host Green Bay on Sunday afternoon in a 1 p.m. start. Fans can follow all the action on ESPN+ and via live stats.

The Raiders grabbed two road wins last week, first with a double-digit victory at Youngstown State where they never trailed, and then a Sunday overtime win at Robert Morris. Alexis Hutchison scored a game-high 26 points on Friday in the Youngstown State win and Layne Ferrell tied a career-high with 25 points in Sunday's RMU victory.
Wright State Basketball Coaches Show
The Wright State Basketball Coaches Show returns to Mode X Tequila Bistro on various Monday nights from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. throughout the 2023-2024 season. The next show is Monday, January 8, the start of eight straight weeks of shows running through February 26.

Mode X Tequila Bistro is located in The Greene at 4492 Glengarry Drive, across from the Cinemark movie theater in The Greene.

The shows welcome fans in person and also air on 101.5 HANK FM. Chris Collins, in his 27th season as the Voice of the Raiders, acts as the host along with his radio partner, former Wright State coach Jim Brown. The show includes questions from Collins and Brown as well as fans and visits from players and assistant coaches.
