Bowlers wrap up weekend action in Orlando

ORLANDO – The Wright State bowling team wrapped up action at Destination Orlando Sunday morning, falling to No. 7 Louisiana Tech to finish the weekend with a 4-7 overall record and a 17th-place finish in the 24-team field.

The Raiders faced Louisiana Tech in a head-to-head Baker match, falling to the No. 7-ranked team 962-866 to finish their weekend.

Wright State returns to Ohio with four wins, grabbing victories over Florida A&M, Daemen, Alabama State and (RV) Monmouth and tallying a final pinfall total of 10,044 and an average game score of 182.6.

Natalie Hanson led the Raiders with her 195.20 average, followed by Alli Shattuck (181.00), Rylie Jeanneret (178.50), Mia Sayles (179.67) and Jasmine Schulze (167.00).

After this weekend's busy slate of action concludes, Wright State will be back in action on November 9 and 10 as hosts of the annual Raider Classic at Beaver Vu Bowl in Beavercreek, OH.
