
Raider bowlers grab second-place finish to complete busy weekend

BEAVERCREEK, OH – The Wright State bowling team wrapped up a busy week of action with a second-place finish in Sunday's Orange & Black Classic at Beaver Vu Bowl.

Wright State finished second with a total pinfall of 4,061 on the day over five team games, just behind tournament champion and host Pikeville and its 4,853 total pins.

Raider representatives for Sunday's action included: Jada Baker, Hannah Dingledine, Faith Ford, Aiyana Godwin, Anna Johns, Addy Meshew, Kennedy Moore, Kiandra Smith and Heather Walker. The same group turned in a first-place finish on Saturday at the Ohio Bowling Conference's Event 2 in Columbus.

Wright State also had a group competing in Florida this weekend at Destination Orlando, where that Raider group finished 17th out of a large, 24-team field.

Wright State will be back in action as a complete group on November 9 and 10 as hosts of the annual Raider Classic at Beaver Vu Bowl in Beavercreek, OH.
