Bowling heads to Columbus for Saturday action

DAYTON – The Wright State bowling team prepares for its final action for the fall season this weekend with Saturday competition at the Ohio Bowling Conference Event 3 at Columbus Square Bowling Palace in Columbus.

The Raiders will have three squads representing Wright State this weekend: the Green, Gold, and White squads. The Green squad consists of Jada Baker, Faith Ford, Rylie Jeanneret, Addyson Meshew, Mia Sayles and Allison Shattuck. The Gold team features Aiyana Godwin, Emma Hatfield, Anna Johns, Kennedy Moore, Jasmine Schulze and Alina Stebbins. The White squad is made up of Hannah Dingledine, Natalie Hanson, Paige Patterson, Kiandra Smith, and Heather Walker.

The Raiders will participate in four regular and eight Baker games beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Competing teams joining the Raiders are Akron, Baldwin Wallace, Capital, Cincinnati, Kent State-Trumbull, Kent State, Mount Vernon Nazarene, Muskingum, Northwestern Ohio, Ohio Northern, Ohio State, Rio Grande, Robert Morris, Shawnee State, St. Vincent, Tiffin, Thomas More and Wittenberg.

The Raiders are currently tied for first in the OBC rankings with four points, with Faith Ford being a part of the All-Rookie Team and the Honorable Mention team with an average of 182.43.

This weekend's event closes out the fall portion of the Raider schedule. Wright State will take a holiday break before resuming action in mid-January at the Northeast Classic in Delaware.
