Wright State, Southern Ohio Brewing partner for Rowdy Blonde Ale

DAYTON - Wright State Athletics and Southern Ohio Brewing are excited to announce a partnership to produce the first-ever Raider branded beer. Rowdy Blonde Ale will be available at Wright State sporting events, Southern Ohio Brewing and local restaurants with pouring rights.

"We are extremely excited to announce this partnership with Southern Ohio Brewing. Southern Ohio Brewing is a natural fit for a branded beer collaboration," Wright State Director of Athletics Joylynn Brown said. "We're proud to partner with a Raider-owned, local brewery that will resonate with our fanbase."

Officially licensed, the Rowdy Blonde Ale sports a design paying homage to Wright State University Athletics, incorporating the Raiders' current logo while also featuring the vintage Viking Raider logo.

A staple of Beavercreek, Southern Ohio Brewing is owned by Wright State University graduate James Williams. Southern Ohio Brewing focuses on locally inspired and produced products with a strong commitment toward sustainability. For more on the Southern Ohio Brewing's story, click here.

Rowdy Blonde Ale is a classic blonde ale designed to be enjoyed throughout the game but also a little Rowdy with character from hops from the Pacific Northwest, making it the perfect game day beer. A percentage of all sales go to the Raider Athletic Fund.

Rowdy Blonde Ale will be available in the Nutter Center during all Wright State Basketball games. Wright State Athletics and Southern Ohio Brewing urge fans to drink responsibly.
