DAYTON, OHIO- The Wright State Athletic Department is excited to announce a partnership with Influxer, an officially licensed vendor that allows student-athletes to sell unique and custom apparel through a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement.
"Wright State Athletics is focused on providing NIL opportunities for our student-athletes from every sport," Athletics Academic Advisor and Compliance Coordinator Zach Beal said. Â "We're excited to have a partnership with Influxer, one that is the first step in achieving our goal of enhancing the experience of every Raider. Influxer allows members of the Wright State community to show their support for the student-athletes that work hard representing this University."Â
Started by former college student-athletes, Influxer has partnered with over 400 schools to deliver custom apparel that features a student-athlete's sport, name, and number. Through the partnership, student-athletes will gain valuable experience in branding, entrepreneurship, and marketing.
"The NIL landscape is constantly evolving and working with Wright State has been an amazing opportunity and seeing the vision they have for the Athletic Department as a whole, starting with providing great options through Influxer for their student-athletes," Influxer Vice President Keith Miller said. "They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long-term skills for life."
Every Raider student-athlete has the ability to create their own personalized shop through Influxer. While Influxer takes care of the logistics and customer service, they meet with the student-athletes to work on creative elements, design, and marketing.
