Track and Field Announces 2024-25 Indoor and Outdoor Schedules

DAYTON — The Wright State track and field programs released its 2024-25 indoor and outdoor schedules on Tuesday.

The indoor slate features seven regular season meets, culminated by the Horizon League Indoor Championship hosted by Purdue Fort Wayne March 1 and 2, while the outdoor schedule begins in mid-March and features nine regular season meets before the Horizon League Outdoor Championship May 9-11 at Youngstown State.
Wright State will open the indoor season with a pair of meets this weekend, first at the GVSU Holiday Open on Friday before a short trip to the Wittenberg-hosted Tiger Open on Saturday. After a holiday break, the Raiders return to action at the Mastodon Invitational on January 18, followed by the Bellarmine Classic hosted by Louisville on January 24.Â
The Raiders will compete at the Steemer Showcase (February 1), Gem City Invitational (February 8) and Wittenberg Invitational (February 22), all in Springfield at Wittenberg, ahead of the Horizon League Indoor Championship from March 1-2 in Fort Wayne.

Outdoor competition gets underway on March 21 with the Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami (OH) before the Yellow Jacket Open (March 29, Cedarville) and the Jim Vargo Invitational (April 5, Bellarmine). Mid-April is packed, with the Raiders competing on April 12 at both the NKU Invitational and the Bison Outdoor Classic (Bucknell) before doubling up again the following weekend at the Otterbein Twilight (April 18) and the Tiffin Track Carnival (April 18-19).

Wright State wraps up spring action back at Miami (OH) on April 26 at the Redhawk Invite and May 2-3 at the Ohio State-hosted Jesse Owens Classic before the Horizon League Outdoor Championship takes place May 9-11 at Youngstown State. NCAA Preliminary action is slated for May 28-31 in Jacksonville, Florida.
