Bowlers set for weekend of action in Missouri

DAYTON – The Wright State bowling team returns to the lanes this weekend with three days of action at the Columbia 300 Saints Invite at Bowlero Lakeside in Valley Park, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis.

Action begins at 10 a.m. on Friday before a 9:30 a.m. start on Saturday. Action wraps up Sunday beginning at 8:30 a.m. Friday action will feature five Baker matches on Friday with five traditional matches on Saturday and Sunday will feature one traditional match and two best of seven brackets.

The Raiders will be represented by Alex Drsek, Makenzie Gossett, Natalie Hanson, Emma Hatfield, Rylie Jeanneret, Mia Sayles, Jasmine Schulze and Allison Shattuck.

Other teams in action this weekend include: UAB, Central Missouri, Kentucky Wesleyan, Lincoln Memorial, Lewis, Louisiana Tech, McKendree, Newman, Oklahoma Christian, Wisconsin-Whitewater and tournament host Maryville.

Wright State is coming off first and third place team finishes in the Ohio Bowling Conference's Event 4 back on January 21. Â Four Raiders finished in the top 20 individually, led by Gossett and Jeanneret, who tied for the 10th-best average with 189.0 pinfall averages. Hanson was No. 14 with her 187.25 pinfall average and Sayles was No. 20 with her 183.5 pinfall average.
