Raiders partner for annual blood drive for Bob Grote

Wright State Athletics has again partnered with Versiti Blood Center to host a blood drive on Saturday, January 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nutter Center. This event is in honor of former Raider basketball/baseball great and radio commentator Bob Grote, who himself faced a life-threatening health emergency, necessitating 31 units of blood for his treatment.
Those unable to attend on January 17 will have an opportunity to contribute to the drive by signing up to donate at the Versiti Blood Center, which is located at 349 S. Main Street in Dayton, from January 19-30.
To register, click the registration link featured below. As a gesture of appreciation, all registered donors will receive two tickets to the February 22 Wright State men's basketball game as well as a Donor Love crewneck shirt, available while supplies last.
This initiative not only emphasizes the critical role of blood donation but also serves as a tribute to a distinguished member of our Raider family.
