DAYTON, Ohio — Wright State midfielder Caitlin Burger was named to the Horizon League All-League First Team for the second straight season, leading three (3) Raiders honored when the league announced its 2026 women's soccer awards today.
Midfielder Makenzie Chinn and forward Ruby Dunlevy were named to the All-League Third Team. Midfielder Addy Canter was one of 12 finalists for the league's Sportsmanship Award.
Burger Joins Select Company
Burger is the eighth player in program history with back-to-back First Team All-League selections and the first since Olga Massombo was named to the First Team three straight seasons from 2020 to 2022.
She tied for the team lead with five (5) goals and 11 points, and she put 13 of her 25 shots on goal.
Chinn and Dunlevy on the Third Team
Chinn also tied for the team lead with five (5) goals, four (4) of them in Horizon League play. She added a game-winning goal and appeared in all 19 matches.
Dunlevy led Wright State with five (5) assists and tied Burger for the team lead with 11 points. She appeared in all 19 matches and scored three (3) goals in two (2) Horizon League matches Oct. 15-18.
The league added a Third Team in 2025. Wright State has had three (3) Third Team selections in its two (2) seasons: Kaitlyn Eyink in 2025, and Chinn and Dunlevy in 2026.
Canter a Sportsmanship Award Finalist
Canter, a member of the women's soccer Leadership Committee, was not shown a card in 17 appearances. The Sportsmanship Award, first presented in 2023, went to IU Indianapolis' Caroline Kelley.
League Honors
The All-League teams were selected by a vote of the league's head coaches. Milwaukee's Emily Petring was named Horizon League Player of the Year, and Milwaukee's Kevin Boyd was named Coach of the Year.
