Bowlers wrap up weekend with two Sunday wins

Smyrna, TN – The No. 9 Wright State bowling team wrapped up action at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic, tallying a pair of Baker wins as part of a 9-4 overall weekend.

The Raiders won their first best-of-seven baker match over Sacred Heart in five games to advance to take on Niagara, where they again tallied a five-set win to set up a matchup with UAB, falling in six games to close out the weekend.

Wright State tallied a total weekend pinfall of 13,188 with a game average of 199.8. Jasmine Schulze led the Raiders in eighth individually with a total pinfall of 1,100 and a 220.0 average, followed by Allie Shattuck in 52nd with her 969 total pinfall and 193.8 average.

Next up for the Raiders will be tournament action at USBC Sectionals this upcoming weekend, with action beginning on Friday.
