2011-12: Team's top times in the 100 (50.62) and 200 (1:53.79) fly...also best times in the 200 and 400 medley relay teams.
2010-11: Team's second best 100 fly (2/25) 50.95 and squad's best 200 fly (2/26) 1:56.64... in relays, helped post second best 800 free (12/2) 7:01.59; best 200 medley (2/23) 1:31.97 and best 400 medley (2/24) at 3:20.88.
2009-10: Qualified in the 100 yard butterfly at the Horizon League Championships...competed in the 100 yard backstroke, 200, 500 and 1000 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly...also swam in the 200 and 400 yard freestyle relay and medley relay.
Prep: Lettered four times for the Lions...named team MVP as a freshman, sophomore and senior...named All-Ohio Capital Conference...helped team to a conference title as a sophomore, junior and senior...won conference champion in 100m butterfly, 500m freestyle and 400m freestyle relay...holds school records in 100m butterfly, 500m freestyle, 200m medley relay, 200m freestyle relay and 400m freestyle relay.
Personal: Born Chris James Downing on September 18, 1990...son of Mike and Beth Downing...has two brothers, Garrett and Matt.
