MEN'S BASKETBALL 2020-21 TICKETING FAQS

Â
Â
ARENA CAPACITY AND SAFETY
Will fans be able to attend games at the Nutter Center for the 2020-21 season?
We're hopeful, but not certain that some number of fans will be able to attend games this season.Â
Â
The Horizon League Board of Directors determined that due to the ongoing impact of the pandemic, all League games in the month of December will be played without fans. Fortunately, we're scheduled to play just one conference opponent at home in December – Green Bay on the 26th and 27th. The Board will reevaluate fan attendance for January and February contests at a later date. Â
Â
The Athletic Department is working with university administration to determine if non-conference games in early December will have fans.
Â
What is the capacity of the Nutter Center for the 2020-21 season?
The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has currently set the maximum number of spectators permitted in an indoor entertainment venue to be the lesser of 300 patrons, or 15 percent of fixed seating capacity. So, for the Nutter Center, 300 is the lesser of the two.
Â
State and local officials may revise these limits at some point.
Â
How will the health and safety of all those attending games at the Nutter Center be addressed?
The health and safety of our fans, student-athletes, coaches, staff, officials, and arena personnel is our top priority. We will follow all guidelines by local/state/federal government, Wright State University, the NCAA and Horizon League Conference. Details towards achieving this goal will become clearer as we get closer to the start of the season.
Â
What additional safety measures are being instituted at the Nutter Center to protect fans and student-athletes?
While a complete set of measures is still being determined, fans can expect, at a minimum, the following:
TICKETING - GENERAL
Will season tickets be sold?
No, games will be sold as a mini-plan type package. Each package will include four conference opponents (Youngstown St., Cleveland St., newcomer Robert Morris, and Milwaukee), and one non-conference opponent (Marshall or Miami). We believe this approach will allow more fans access to see the Raider this season. Click here to view the entire schedule.
Â
How will Wright State Athletics allocate tickets, based on the very limited seating capacity?
Priority will be based on a season ticket holder's historical giving and overall engagement with Athletics. This type of system is used by most athletic departments around the country to determine ticket allotments for bowl games, ticket relocations, and special events.  Â
Â
If I'm eligible to purchase a ticket package this season, will I be able to select my seat location?
Perhaps, but with some limitations. All ticket locations will be above the retractable seating (rows 1-6), in sections 203-208 and 217-222, and allocated in large part based on priority ranking.
Â
How will games be priced?
The cost is $225 per seat. Of that, $40 is a non-refundable deposit towards your 2021-22 season tickets.
Â
Is there a limit to the number of tickets I can purchase per package?
Yes, you can purchase up to four (4) tickets per package. However, if you have less than four (4) season tickets, you may only request up to that number in tickets per package. Example: Two (2) season tickets means a limit of two (2) tickets per package.
Â
What's the status of my "normal" season tickets? Â
All 2019-20 season ticket holders will have their seats reserved and available for purchase for the 2021-22 season.
Â
Will individual games be put on sale for purchase?
Based on current capacity restrictions, all tickets will be sold as mini-plan type packages. However, if attendance variances are permitted by state/local/university officials, season ticket holders will have priority to purchase new seat inventory on an individual game basis.  Â
Â
How will fans gain access to games?
Individual game tickets will be printed by the Athletics Ticket Offices and mailed prior to the start of the season. There will be no season ticket cards for the 2020-21 season.
Â
Â
How will parking be handled this season?
Fans with seat locations in sections 203-208 will park in Lots 1 and 2, and enter Gate 3. Fans with seat locations in sections 217-222 will park in Lots 3 and 4, and enter Gate 6. Gates 3 and 6 will be the only open access points. It's important to note:Â fans will not be granted full 360-degree access around the concourse. So, it's important to enter the appropriate gate.
Handicap accessibility will be available via the Box Office entrance ramp to either gate.
Â
What are the refund options in the event home games are canceled, or if fans aren't permitted to attend, due to COVID-19?
If scheduled home games are canceled due to COVID-19, or if fans are not permitted, ticket holders have the following options:
How can fans support the program?
The athletic department is expecting an approximate 80% decline in ticket revenue this year, as well as a likely decline in corporate sponsorships. In combination with the budget cuts announced over the summer, we potentially limit our ability to serve our 200 student-athletes in the manner we have in the past. Service that has led to unprecedented success in the classroom and on the field of play.
Â
We're asking donors and fans, if possible, to consider matching the level of support that has generously been provided in the recent past. For example, if you contributed $720 last season for two Premium tickets, we're asking for the same financial commitment this year, whether it be in the form of a ticket package, a tax-deductible gift to the Raider Athletic Fund, or participation in the virtual sellout campaign, which will be launched in the next couple of weeks. Â
Â
Now, more than ever, your philanthropic support is needed.
Â
Will I lose my season tickets for future seasons if I request a refund or can't match recent contributions (i.e. donations, tickets)?
No. We value the loyalty and support of our season ticket holders and understand how challenging this year has been. All 2020-21 season ticket holders who request a refund will still have their same seats available for renewal in 2021-22.
