STREAMING
How can I watch the Raiders?
All Horizon League games – home and away – for both the Wright State men's and women's basketball teams will be available on the ESPN platforms (ESPN3 or ESPN+), while the Raiders may also appear on select games on ESPN linear channels. The majority of Wright State’s non-conference away games will mostly likely be available on the ESPN platforms, however different conferences have varying broadcast partnerships.
You can find the specific viewing platform for every game on the
men’s basketball schedule and
women’s basketball schedule pages, while the exact links to click to watch will become available closer to each game.
Is ESPN+ and ESPN3 the same thing?
No, ESPN+ is a subscription-based package that you can cancel at any time, while ESPN3 comes with most cable or TV packages.
YOU DO NOT RECEIVE ESPN3 with an ESPN+ subscription.
- ESPN3 is a digital network that streams thousands of live events annually, in addition to providing on-demand replays of recent ESPN events. ESPN3 games and other programming can be viewed on the ESPN app and via the 'Watch' tab on ESPN.com. ESPN3, which is accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and streaming devices through the ESPN App, is currently available nationwide at no additional cost to those who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated TV provider (i.e., if you subscribe to cable and have access to ESPN on your TV, you can watch ESPN3 for free online).
- ESPN+ streams thousands of live events. A subscription to ESPN+ is available for purchase via the ESPN App and ESPN+ Website, and fans can only access ESPN+ content after they have subscribed.
What is ESPN+?
ESPN+ is a direct-to-consumer (no cable or satellite subscription needed) streaming service that costs $10.99 per month. Subscribers receive thousands of additional live events, and original shows and films, and an on-demand library, which is not available on ESPN's linear TV or digital networks. ESPN+ will not include access to stream ESPN's existing, linear networks (which will continue to be available via "TV Everywhere" authenticated streaming).
How much does ESPN+ cost?
ESPN+ costs $10.99 a month ($109.99, if you pay annually). Bundling your ESPN+ subscription with sites such as Hulu and Disney Plus is also an option. In addition to Wright State games, thousands of other collegiate and professional games, plus original shows, series and an unmatched library of on-demand sports content is all part of the ESPN+ subscription.
Do I have to pay for the ESPN App?
The ESPN App is still free, and you get all the same news, info, highlights and audio as always. Users can still stream ESPN networks with a pay TV subscription for no additional cost. Users also have a new option to subscribe directly to ESPN+ — which contains thousands of additional live events, on-demand content and shows — not available on ESPN's traditional TV networks.
How do I subscribe to ESPN+ and where can I watch it?
A subscription to ESPN+ is available for purchase via the ESPN App and ESPN.com, and fans can only access ESPN+ content after they have subscribed.
How can I watch ESPN+?
A subscriber can watch ESPN+ in the Watch tab of the latest version of the ESPN App, available on the web, iPhone, iPad, tvOS, Android Handset, Roku, Chromecast, and FireTV.
Where is ESPN+ available?
ESPN+ is currently only available in the US.
What additional content will be available via ESPN+?
Thousands of additional live events, on-demand content and original programming not available on ESPN's linear TV or digital networks. This includes hundreds of MLB, NHL and MLS games, college sports, boxing, golf, tennis, international rugby, cricket, the entire library of award-winning '30 for 30' documentaries and much more.
