Josh Mason joined the Wright State Women’s basketball coaching staff in June 2026.
Mason joins the Raiders program after spending the previous four seasons as the head coach of Division II Tiffin. Before being the head coach at Tiffin, Mason served as an assistant coach in the 2020-21 season when the Dragons won the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament and the first NCAA Division II Tournament berth in program history, ultimately reaching the Sweet 16. Mason also brings high school head coaching experience, serving as the head man at North Canton Hoover and Cedarville High School.
Mason's passion for coaching basketball began during his time at the University of Cincinnati, when he was a practice player for the women's basketball program during the 2012-2013 season. He also graduated from Cincinnati with a degree in Middle Childhood Education.
