Kim Demmings was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Services during the 2023-24 academic year.
Demmings originally rejoined the Wright State athletic department as an Academic Advisor in July 2022 after previously serving on the women's basketball staff from 2017-2021 and having a standout athletic career for the Raiders.
A former women’s basketball standout and the program leader in career points scored, Demmings was named the Horizon League Player of the Year in 2014 and 2016 was also selected a Third Team High-Major All-American and named to the Naismith Watch List as a student-athlete. She also spent four seasons on the women’s basketball coaching staff as the director of operations, where she was on the bench for a WNIT appearance and a pair of NCAA Tournament teams.
Demmings graduated from Wright State with her undergraduate degree in Organizational Leadership in 2015 and earned her Master’s in Sports Management in 2019.
