Three Raiders named to the All-Horizon League tennis teams

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.-The Horizon League announced the All-Horizon League selections for tennis on Friday night with Quincy Jones, Lance Koetter and Tiffani Foster each picking up honors.
Jones, a senior from Akron, was named to first team for the men after posting a 12-14 in singles play with an 11-10 record as the number one in dual matches. He also has a 3-2 mark in Horizon League play. It is Jones' second first team selection with the other coming in 2001 when he was also named the newcomer of the year and the three selection overall with a second team selection in 2003.
Koetter was named 2005 newcomer of the year and to the second team for the men after going 16-13 on the season with a dual matches record of 10-10 in the number two position. He is also 2-2 in HL matches this year. The freshman from Cincinnati is 7-19 in doubles play with a 3-14 when paired with Quincy Jones as the number one team.
Foster, a sophomore from Huber Heights, received a second team selection for the women with a 5-2 record in HL singles play. She is 15-14 overall with a 7-4 record as the number two player. Foster is 9-10 on the year with an 8-5 when paired with Jessica Lee and a 5-4 mark as the number one doubles team.
The Raider women play Cleveland State on Saturday morning in the first round of the Horizon League tournament while the men have a first round bye and will play the winner of the Cleveland State/UIC match in the semifinals on Saturday afternoon.
