On a mild night in Chicago, the Raiders couldn't get their offense heated up, falling 4-0 at UIC in the second round of the Horizon League Tournament. WSU tallied only two shots, forcing the UIC keeper to make two saves, and UIC tallied three second half goals in the win.
UIC got the scoring started in the 39th minute when Kevin Stoll netted his first goal of the season on a give-and-go with Matt Spiess in the penalty box.
That goal was the only action in the first half and WSU trailed 1-0 going into half time.
The Flames then added a trio of goals in the second half, two coming off the foot of Pavle Dundjer, to provide for the final margin of 4-0.
Braden Fleak and Anthony Smerk recorded the only two shots for the Green and Gold and senior Tebias Mason made two saves in the match.
WSU ends their season with an 8-13 record overall and a 3-5 mark in Horizon League play.
